Such weird interactions!

Here have been some of my interaction with my fellow Chicagoans:

1. Girl at the gym (at the mirror while we both primp ourselves after a shower):

Girl: Mumbling - "Youknowwhattimeitis?"
Me: No, but, there is a clock around the corner.
Girl: Well, are you getting ready for work?
Me: No. Um, just gettin' ready!
Girl: How many showers do you take a day?
Me: Usually one?
Girl: Yeah, me too.

5 minutes later, as the girl is leaving...
Girl: Bye! Good luck!!

2. Man on the street roaming around, and then getting in my face:

Man: Big BUCKS Lady, BIG BUCKS!
Me: -blank stare and walking quickly away-

Why has my most normal recent interaction with a stranger been the one where I was catheterizing him?!?
